Empowering Academic Journeys of Students with Down Syndrome

Neurodivergence in the writing center is often discussed, yet Down syndrome (DS) is often overlooked. Inspired by conversations among tutors at Clovis Community College, this presentation examines how writing centers can proactively create inclusive practices and prepare tutors to effectively support students with DS while fostering accessible learning environments.
